The same way they did in the show. When are movie-makers going to realize that if we can believe (in a movie) that a guy can fly, and that in a cartoon we can believe and accept that a huge 50 foot robot can turn into a rifle/pistol that another 50 foot robot can hold in his hand - we'll believe it in the movie?

I'd be just fine if Optimus transformed and his trailer just *disappeared*. It'd be nostalgic for me. I wouldn't think "Jeez that looked dumb." I dunno, that's just me.

I agree...the new Megatron sucks a lot of ass and nothing would be cooler than to see him transform into a gun.

I dunoo, I can see their point that it is easier if they just do a tank instead, but whatever. Sounds like they are gonna have a nice mixture of stuff from all generations.

In the cartoon, I always imagined there was an unseen autobot that handled his trailor. Like Stage-hand-bot or something.

Am I wrong in assuming that the robots themselves are going to be entirely done in CG? I find it funny that it's "Live action" when it'll be mostly animated anyway.
