I love being a poor college student. Until the university is paid, no can register for the upcoming term. Well, because of that, I hadn't talked to my advisor, since it'd be a moot point. Got it paid off, sent my advisor an E-Mail. Haven't heard from her. That was sent 13 days ago. So, I headed into the Registrar's Office, and got my registration code directly from them. I get to feast on leftover classes. Here's what I've got:

C S 230 - Computer Programming I (basically, intro to C++)
ENG 350 - Traditional Grammar Mechanics and Usage (<img src=smilies/crying.gif> I have to take it for my major....)
ENG 395 - Creative Writing Workshop: Non-Fiction (I was surprised and very, veyr pleased there was still one seat left in this class)
PSY 101 - General Pyschology (wahoo. 55% failure rate among students, literally. In the whoppin' huge as fuck lecture hall on campus, the room that holds more than 400 students at once. Never wanted to take psycho-ology).

18 credit hours. Yay. Just shoot me now.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I get to scoop ice cream at dinner time at one of the campus dining halls during this quarter as well. That, I am pleased with.

Ah yes. Being the bottom of the stack. I remember that, seems like I still live it today. Still getting the leftovers. Just for once, I'd like to be up top, and actually getting to register.

Rather hefty change there. How do you like very peculiar and difficult math?

I wipe down tables and mop the dining hall twice a week. I like it in a twisted way. It's kinda mindless, good break from work <img src=smilies/cwm11.gif>

Teaching grad school, eh? Sounds like fun. Go for it.

Hmm...interesting. Is there more to the creative writing program there than the one class? I would like to hope so.

Hey, I took 20 credit hours my first term at OU. My first quarter out of high school. And I will never take 20 credit hours again, if I can avoid it. I've got 18 now, and that's enough.

] In addition to that there are some really cool english
] classes here, Science Fiction is one that I'm going to take,
] but there is also Literature of the South, The American
] Novel, International Short Story, Medieval Literature, and
] Shakespeare among others. I'm really excited about geting
] this stuff... I'm just worried that when I'm finished my
] eyes are going to need to be replaced.

I was surprised by your numbers being in the thousands. We just do the hundreds here.

I was asking 'cuz my major here is, quite literally, Creative Writing (instantly spells "Grad School," I know). Just this quarter, here's some of that you might be interested in here:

ENG 361 - Creative Writing: Fiction
ENG 362 - Creative Writing: Poetry
ENG 363 - Creative Writing: Non-Fiction
ENG 393 - Creative Writing Workshop: Short Stories
ENG 394 - Creative Writing Workshop: Poetry
ENG 395 - Creative Writing Workshop: Non-Fiction
ENG 441 - Colloquim: Threatre in English
ENG 481 - Form and Theory: Fiction
