Awesome, dude!

Yeah, you've got to have plans when going to a convention, otherwise you just wind up wandering aimlessly and gawking.

Just out of curiosity, are you cosplaying as any game or anime character at I-Con? For this year's Anthrocon I'm commissioning a full-body + head moogle suit from this one guy who's good at making that sort of stuff. $400, but it'll be worth every penny.

You're gonna pay $400 for a Moogle suit?! Yikes.

Well, that WAS the plan up until this morning. Granted, it'd be nice to help out a starving artist who already has experience making costumes like that, but the thing is, I'm paying a LOT just for labor. If I were to make it myself, I could probably save around $200. He already told me that the body itself is just done from a simple glove-costume pattern, so I'm pretty confident that with my mom's sewing ability we could do that on my own. Also, the head would be carved out of http://www.nicodemus.org/fursuit.cgi?design-foamheadfoam, which looks like it would be pretty easy, not to mention how http://mooglyguy.tripod.com/quickymoog.jpgsimple the head looks like it would be in the concept sketches.

Ah well.

yep

>...dressing up as a character?
no, though i was thinking about going as a thief, but it was raining too hard to even think about it.

day 2 of 3
got a bad blister on my foot, looked around and saw an awesome knife, found james (one of my friends) and went with him, i saw many anime characters and 20 storm troopers, there was a guy wearing a miniskirt (no, not a kilt(sp?)) more later.
