well, i have decided to start a super metroid TC..

i plan on redoing the layout of every room in the game, and if i learn how to do other things, i will change other aspects of the game [like add monsters and items to rooms that previously had none :P]

as soon as i figure out how to take a picture of the whole room..i will post some eye candy of the first few rooms

i plan on makeing the game ahrder by add thing such as 'trash walls'..basicly solid walls about 3-4 units thick..and reqire all your weapons to completely destroy [some blocks need super missles, some need regular, some need power bombs, some respawn etc..]

you will HAVE to be a very good wall jumper as to get to soem places you need to wall jump up small 1 unit tubes

aswell as anyhting else i can think of to make the game harder [but it will be possiable, becasue if i cannot get past it..i won't add it to the game :P]

so yeah, be looking for a new metroid mod [hopefully a fun one people may enjoy this time] in a few months or so

and i have a question mark up there becasue i haven't come up with a name yet

Wall jumping...blah...If I get caught in the area they try to teach you that without the space jump I'll just reset. It'll take me longer to get back up the wall than to make up whatever progress I lost sincc the last save (only did it once because I was dumb and used the save point down there, took an hour to get back up...)

It's easier on the real SNES with the real SNES controller. My guess is third-party controllers will be as bad as PC controllers for wall jumping.

That was on a Super Famicom unit with the original cartridge and controller. Granted, sometimes I've suspected the response times on the Super Famicom are a bit slow (the first Sigma stage in X3 is utterly impossible because X can't wall jump fast enough when the five wall segments close in on him). Just one of those things I never got the knack for, really. I'm just a whore to the space jump...hehehe...

(I DID learn it well enough to beat Nightmare in Metroid Fusion, but that's the extent of my skills with wall-jumping)

Huh...I can pull them off like nothing on my computer. O_o
