I recently got ePSXe and was wanting to get some help/input on what plug-ins best to use for my system.
System stats:
Operating System: Windows XP SP2
Processor: Intel Celeron 2.93GHz
Memory: 376MB RAM
Video Card: RADEON 9250
Display Memory: 256.0 MB
Monitor Max Res: 1280,1024
RealTek AC97 onboard audio
So let me know what you would use or do use, and if posible, link me. trying to find these plugings seems to be quite a chalenge...
On to the ISOs.
I want to make some of my games in to ISOs to see if they run any better. i get alot of slowdowns in video squences, especialy in FF7 (happens to be the game i am playing now). So i want to know what program i should use to make an ISO. All i have right now is Nero and all it makes in .ngr files.
Ok that's it. Thanks in advance to any help.

Your system should do pretty well I think. I would try Pete's Plug-ins for graphics and CD-ROM, and Eternal SPU for audio...that's what I use anyway. Best thing to do is to experiment and see what is best for your system. You should be able to find them on the PSX Emulator plug-ins page http://www.zophar.net/utilities/psplugins.htmlhere</a>. Check the websites of the plug-in creators, I know that some downloadable from this site are somewhat out of date.

Someone on this board mentioned it...Disc Dump is good for making proper ISOs of PSX discs.

Well, i would like to add, if i may..
My PC is 533mhz/192mb ram/gforce fx 5200 128mb..and i can play almsot all my games jsut fine..but..the video/cut sceans in almsot every game are hella slow..like...barely crawling at 1fps [while the rest of the game runs fine as ever]
is there any way to disable all the cut seances from the game?..or perhaps speed them up?
most notable are the cutscanes from Legacy of Kain: soul Revaver..those tend to be the slowwies...

Is it an in-game cutscene (using the actual game graphics) or FMV? If it's FMV I'd suggest making an ISO of Soul Reaver and trying that, if it's an in-game cutscene and the game normally runs fine.....my instinct tells me try different sound settings, like SPUasync if your audio plug-in supports it. I've had times where I got tons of stuttering when a game played voices that was fine after I changed my setting to SPUasync.

You might want to look into the readme/help files for that... it's been a while since I've messed with ePSXe, but I seem to recall that there might be a command line switch to disable movies. ...something to the effect of -nomdecs or something IIRC.
