Well, it's official... 3 fillings in April, 1 root canal, then 1 crown over that root canal.
I am not excited.

That fuckin' sucks, man.
Sorry to hear it. I'm guessing you're one of those unlucky types that brushing & flossing a lot just isn't enough?
And, your avatar is SWEET. I remember fighting those nasty shits...and fighting thier "Enchanted" superiors. *shudders at that memory*

Ah yes. It's from Champions of Krynn. Dark Queen of Krynn had the enchanted versions of the Draconians. It is recolored from the original and cut down to fit the forum avatar specifications.

Sorry.
What's sad is when you get so much dental work done, that you don't even mind anymore. I hadn't been to the Dentist in 5 years cuz I didn't have insurance. Then a couple years ago when I got my cushy yet retarded Office Space type job, I started getting my dental work done. Even with insurance copays, I spent $2000.
I have bad teeth from my dad. And my mom - she's never had a goddamn cavity in her life!! how is that even possible!? I wish I had got those genes from her.

HAHAHA!! word up on that!! Unless you're depressed like I was... and you kept using the bottle even once the dental pain subsided.

I went through the same deal. I got real out of hand with the painkillers for a year or so, and went through some nasty withdrawals when I kicked. Tool video-style nightmarish withdrawals. Depression sucks. But if your pain is strictly dental, you'll need that shit! Just use it sparingly...

Hell, I've faced them playing 2e Dragonlance (the group of enchanted ones [not just Sivaks] killed our group; what a way to close a campaign). The only reason I knew those guys were "enchanted" was that we asked the DM afterward.
I've seen thier picture before, playing Champions of Krynn. Never got to play Dark Queen of Krynn. You know, that's about the colour they *should* be, not green-ish.

Never had a cavity. I got to go to the dentist for the first time since I was in 2nd Grade not that long ago. He said no cavities, and things looked great, especially consider how long it'd been.
I await your thrashing, pudu.

I had a shitload of cavities when I was a little kid. Now I've only had a few since my adult teeth grew in, but I have got some gorgeous white and straight teeth- thanks to braces and bleach. Although one of my front uppers is a fake.

Well, if it's any consolation...
...wait, no. It just plain sucks. Nothing'll make that change.
Sorry man. [/counsellor extrordinaire]

I feel your pain, man. My wisdom teeth are coming in full force right now, and I need to get them removed within the next couple months. The problem is, I have NO money to get that job done, so may actually be a while. The weird pressure on my teeth is going to fuck up the bottom row if I take too long.
On the bright side, the small gap in between my two front teeth is being pushed shut!
Good luck, bud. Teeth suck, and dentists are evil. My advice would be to get a sonicare toothbrush. They're cheaper than a dentist visit, and it can honestly lay waste to plaque in no time. I got one for free, and it rocks.
