Thats quite the purpose. That hack sucked on the basis it did not look anything like samus. If this works out, I plan on keeping samus as close to her "death" animation as possible, thus being a "true" armorless samus

Keep in mind this is only a possibility, I am not promising samus to be armorless in my hack at any point in the game =P

While I still admire the ammount of work that went into the Justin Bailey patch (Hell, I can't even draw some custom sprites for my FF1 hack let alone change a... tank into a beautiful woman <img src=smilies/laff.gif> ) I never really liked it that much. Didn't remind me of Samus at all, really, and the suit is badass. I like how they did armorless Samus in Zero Mission, it made sense.

Speaking of Zero Mission, I will give... absolutely nothing to the first person to make Super Metroid's action as fast-paced. I loved how fast Zero Mission was.

okay, I need to clarify that this hack will NOT be aromorless, this is just something I'm working on on the side, possibly related to, but not going to be in my hack
