midi soft synth guide -- gone?

someone posted a link to a guide they wrote on how to make windows use an alternative soft synth a while back and i bookmarked it.

when i tried to go to the bookmark today, it didn't work... said the page didn't exist anymore.

would the person who made the guide please like, email it to me, or something?

Have you tried teh internet archive/Google caches/etc?

i wouldn't be surprised if he had linked to it in a something else he linked to...

but that should be enough to get me on the right track to reproducing his results, thanks!
