What is it about hitting those early college years that makes one want to go crazy and date as many girls as possible? I've always made fun of my roomate for being such a womanizer but now I see myself turning into that. Suddenly I find myself looking at all my female friends like "heeey... you're looking good". Good gravy. What a great time to be alive.

I know what you mean, except my rush was delayed a few years. In college, most girls did not want to be associated with me. Now I'm in grad school and all the undergrads want to get with me. Go figure. I've been told I look younger than I am, so maybe that's the reason. Anyway, whatever, I'm dating one of the hottest girls on campus and can find nothing to complain about.

I unfortunately have looked approx. 24-30 for the last 3 years. It's hell. Cuz especially when I was 18, I'd still be checkin out high school age chicks, and I'd get those looks like "aren't you a little old to be doing that?" or something.

Age taboos can be really obnoxious sometimes. We have age limits on sex, drinking, living alone, ownership, legal rights, and much more, but yet these numbers make very little reflection of reality. If only there were an easier way to do it. I have to say that even I get criticized for sleeping with an undergrad while I'm a grad student. She's only two years younger than I am! Oh wait, maybe they were criticizing the fact that she was my student. Well, either way, they should leave me alone.

It was past tense. We started dating after the class was over, but we still got looks and there was a great deal of gossip. It's not like I was the professor, I was just a teaching assistant. If a silly taboo like that prevents two people from potentially spending very happy lives together, I say fuck it.
