I'm not auctioning though, I'm selling it at a fixed price. I'm simply using ebay as the go between to post information about my camera.

Honestly, what's the big deal? If you have shit on eBay that someone here might be interested in, what's the big deal? At least if there's a middle man, you don't have situations with someone running away with your stuff or your money and having NO recourse whatsoever.

And don't tell me that hasn't happened here in the past.

I had somebody pay me for 2 Swap Magic discs he bought from me. I send them off and never heard from him again. (Despite the "shoot me a PM on ZMD when you get these" note I enclosed.) I don;t even know if he got them.

The big deal is just having a set price or taking BO. Not setting somebody up to jack the price up.
If you wanna sell it on ebay, go ahead.
If you wanna sell it here fine. Do one or the other. Not both.
This board is not a tool for leverage.
