Lightning Strikes.
And boy did it last Saturday. I wasn't here, but numbnuts left all the power on up front. We took a hit here, and all the computers were protected with surge protectors, but the DSL router wasn't. Nor the phone system, nor some expensive production machinery in the back.
Not to mention the motherboard for the rip (computer) for our Canon Color Copier fried, the stitcher (for stapling booklets) and the computer control for the paper cutter got smoked.....
What bothers me is that it took my idiot boss five hours to finally listen to me and realize the DSL router was bad. He just hooked it in yesterday.
Thank god.
