ASM Help Needed

Hey peoples,

I've been reading up on ASM, and kinda come up short. Basically, the only thing I can understand from the poorly written tutorials (Specifically for SNES) are Mnemonic code listings, what the Accumulator is, etc. Really confusing stuff.

So...If it's no trouble, I wouldn't mind any help in writing the rest of my ASM section on my website (I'm not allowed to post the link...) with some of the Guru's (If there are any here at all) of ASM Hacking.

Hope I can get some help on it. If you want, just PM me and we can probably get in touch on an IM of some sort (MSN, Yahoo, IRC, etc...).

Get IRC. Get on Espernet (irc.esper.net). Join #rom-hacking. Myself and several other "gurus" hang out there and are always willing to lend a hand in this department. I don't have any experience with the SNES (65816 I believe), but I know the NES (6502) pretty much inside and out. From what I understand, the 65816 is just a "beefed up" 6502, so learning 6502 first might be a good first step, since the 65816 is practically the same, just with more addressing modes/opcodes.

Anyway, I attached a log of me going through the basic concepts of 6502 with Leno. Read it over if you like, it might help clear up some questions you were having.

Gurus of asm hacking, well here, there are "plenty." I'm not one myself, but I've done some simple hacking to Super Metroid (Outside the capabilities of SMILE like stat hacking, and text editing.) I'm not a guru, but I'm exelent at breaking things down so they are easy to digest. Hit me on AIM sometime.( Noctureneninjadmx.)

I actually have to Re-download mIRC...But thanks a million. I'm not looking for SNES specific, just ASM knowledge in general.
