I'll post the one that I got a week ago <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>
yes, it's a hand me down

CPU -- PIII 933MHz
memory -- 512MB
video -- voodoo 3 2000 PCI (no AGP slot)<img src=smilies/crying.gif>
120GB HD space on two drives (40, 80)
external ZIP drive (don't really have room to put an internal one)
a scanner :D

that's all I can think of right now :P

That's not a bad system. 'Cept the video card is a little..well, old, but should be fine for most games.

I still have my own Voodoo 3 2000 AGP card here. I replaced it two months ago. I definitely noticed the difference...

He should get a Geforce4 PCI card. Yes, they exist. :)

Yeah, well sure, a Voodoo may not play UT2K3, but I ran Max Payne with a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP on a Pentium II 400 and it ran smoothly

I saw one at Wal*Mart, where for some reason the only graphics cards they sell are PCI. <img src=smilies/eek13.gif>

They also sell E-Machines. Those things probably don't even have AGP slots. Hell, they probably have integrated video. :p
