Umm... MMXtreme = Mega Man Xtreme. The first GameBoy Color version of a Mega Man X game. I only see one regular Mega Man Xtreme ROM and a trainered version. I assume this is for the former and I gather it does something to X's armour.

I wasn't aware there was actually a game actually named "MMXtreme" (and can you blame me? I mean what kind of a name is that anyway) -- I figured it was the name of the hack (which I assumed was for MMX)

Sure!! They are in a zip file, the pic titled armor 1 is the original armor sprite, the other is the hacked one.

It is a bit of dumb name, but years of reading Bob and George along with a long stint participating at the forums have made me somewhat of a Mega Man fan. I've tracked down a fair few of the ROMs and ISOs, including all major PlayStation releases.

Speaking of which... did you see Something Awful's 'review' of that comic? That was straight up hilarious <img src=smilies/laff.gif>

I used to read that comic too... until one day I looked back and realize it never made me laugh once -- so I quickly stopped reading it (kind of like Peanuts -- I read it because it was there, but it really isn't a good comic at all)

Nope. But they ragged on Resident Evil 3, which made me pretty much ignore what they say about stuff. That game fucking scared me.

I've been reading it longer than any other comic myself (I started in the latter half of the second game) and still find things about it funny. There was even a time where it hit homepage status, but Emulation 9 has ruled over that position with an iron fist since sometime in 2003. There's also always the subcomics and fancomics to fall back on.

The MM1, MM2, MM3 and MM4 storyarcs were pretty funny. Unfortunately, the filler isn't funny at all, nor was(is?) the MM5 storyarc.
