Modem? Hehe.....What am I laughing at, I still use a modem, can't get broadband around here . Anyway, you got a nice rig. Did you buy it to use as a gaming rig solely, or you gonna do something productive with it?

Sweet deal!
One question: What's with the subwoofer in the middle and the monitor up on the left? Just for demo purposes?

No I really have it that way. I'm limited on desk space at work so the computer is set off to the side. I sit at a 45 angle to the desk and I guess I just got use to it so I set it up like that at home too. I do like the balence it brings to the desk tho

I want to get broadband but the first step was getting a computer that could use it. I was useing a 200Mhz Pentium, which really couldn't use a broadband conection to its full potental.

Hacking, Programing, Music, Gmes, Internet, Money management, just sitting there looking cool If I really want to I have AutoCAD and Primavera Project Planner from my college classes but I don't think I'll feel the need to design and construct a building.

Lucky duck. I wish I could get a new computer, or some more RAM. 196 SDRAM ain't melting butter, heck the G-Force 4 has 64MB DDR RAM, probably the only thing keeping this boat from sinking.

I had problems with mine. The headphone jack went. Then you'd have to either a) hold a pair of headphones in half-way to get sound out of one speaker, or b) do the same thing as above, but with the actual incoming signal from the computer. I just got rid of those pieces of shit. And I'm glad I did.

That's not so bad. My old system, an Athlon 750, ran pretty well with 256 megs of RAM and a Geforce 2 Mx200. It probably wouldn't play UT2K3 all that well, but it could play older games pretty good
