I have three SGI IRIS Indigo workstations, but the system drive has problems in each one. In the one with the Elan graphics board, the system drive is corrupt. In one of the other two machines (LG1 graphics), the hard drive won't power up, and in the last machine, the hard drive fails it's power-on diagnostics.

Yes, typically that is what "WTB" stands for. Far be it from me to make anyone on this board read anything, though.

I know what wtb means.....I'm curious as to what you'd pay for it. I think my boss has a setup like that in the attic. <img src=smilies/banghead.gif>

I dunno, a reasonable price? Given how old any CD-ROM drive in an external enclosure with a centronics SCSI interface, I can't imagine it being worth much more than $50. IRIX is a bit dicey in that nobody except me seems to want 5.3 anymore, as it's only good for really old machines like the Indigos, so I'd be willing to settle for a copy on a CD-R for something like $10 for a person's trouble + shipping.
