Anyone tried that new Island Fire burger from Sonic? For a fast food burger it's great. Also, what's everyone's favorite "fast food" place to eat? Just curious...mine's got to be a place called Whataburger--huge burgers that they actually cook...on a stove no less! It just takes longer to get your food because they cook it...so maybe it isn't really "fast food".

Hm... the "Island Fire Burger" thing is advertised on the sign outside Sonic, but I have no idea what's on it - tell us! :)
I think my favorite fast food thing currently is the Burger King "Tendercrisp" ...which I had for the first time ever last night.

New! Island Fireâ„¢ SuperSONICâ„¢ Burger
Winter is in the homestretch. Spring is right around the corner. It's time to heat things up. Introducing the New Island Fireâ„¢ SuperSONICâ„¢ Burger. Two mouthwatering patties, crisp bacon, Pepper Jack & Smoky Cheddar Cheeses with a sweet and spicy habanera sauce. It's like a cool island breeze mixed with a walk over hot coals. Without the burning sensation.

It's hella good.

Ideal situation: Pancakes with eggs, sausage links and hash-browns for breakfast, a sandwich of some sort on rye bread for lunch, and a steak with potatoes and a light salad for dinner.
Reality: Ramen, microwaveable burrito, mircrowavable rice bowl that's supposed to be something approaching teriyaki, but isn't...etc.

I work in a mall, so my choices are kinda limited...but I eat Subway at every meal. It costs me a little over $5 and I get a drink + chips, and every 8th meal, I get a free sub. It's relatively healthy, and better than McDees everyday.

My favorite place is the iner in my work's plaza. It's not "fast food" it's more like, "it'll be ready in 15 minutes" but it is real food and it's real good. As for actual fast food.... Burger King's Double Whopper w/Cheese owns all.

My absolute favorite restraunt (fast food or otherwise) has got to be Rubios. Fish Tacos, Lobster Burritos, Steak Quesadillas? Heaven! I don't know if that would be considered Fast food, but I think so. But just in case, my more traditional Fast food choice is Carls Jr. I get the Western Bacon $6 burger meal with Chili Cheese Fries. So unhealthy, but oh so tasty!

Taco Bell...there value 99 cent menu actually has some pretty good stuff on it, for one thing.
Anyway, I like all kinds of different food...I seem to be fairly adventurous, but one thing I don't really like is shrimp...it's mostly the texture of them...eh...sproingy...just gross, can't describe it. Sushi though, that stuff rocks, especially the orange kind they have at the New Shanghai, this awesome chinese place they have locally around here. It's a fantastic place...good food and as much of it as you want, nice prices, and a whole bunch of cute asian waitresses. This one girl there, oh man...she looked amazing.
Anyway, can't think of anything I don't really like besides shrimp and that Atkins crap...how can you people make yourselves eat that stuff, honestly? Their pizza is like cardboard with cheese, and on top of that it's crappy cheese.

Burgerking has that also...actually, it's pretty good. My ex kept trying to tell me it was 'cow butt' though...I don't know if I should believe this. :P

Yeah, it seems like American companies have an off definition of things like chicken teriyaki...like at my fav chinese restaurant, it's totally different (and way way better) than the 'teriyaki chicken in a box' type stuff you find in the freezer section.
