My strange parents.

My mom calls me and says "Tom, get up, it's 1:30..." (reasonable) "Oh yeah, I listened to that Underworld album and you're right, it IS homoerotic. I don't know what is up with that 'Mmm, Skyscraper I Love You' song..and what's with that thing he was saying about corndogs?" and I'm like "Oh yeah...uhh...I think he actually is gay. He once referred to the guy who did the percussion work as 'sexy'" and she's like "Well, I don't know, but 'Dark and Long'?"

So I woke up discussing if the guy in Underworld is gay. I could have worse parental problems, but I often just don't get my parents. At all.

My mom usually wakes me up the nice and cheerfull way....with a healthy dose of my own name being crammed down my throat.

I hear "Gaavviiinnn!!!" being screamed from the bottom of the stairs for at least 10 minutes before she finally climbs them to physically wake me up <img src=smilies/crying.gif>

Heh, most days I awake before the fucking sun rises to a dead and silent house, silent except for the soul piercing whine of my alarm clock.my mom only sleeps like 4am to 8am, then 10am to 2pm, she's weird as hell.
