Does anyone know any good info on PC Drawing tablets? I want to get into drawing an online comic (got some ideas, but no scanner/tablet and I suck with a mouse) and I am wondering what is a good, yet affordable (i.e. not $200) tablet to look for.

I've seen Wacom Graphire tablets go for $100. pretty nice device.
But, i dont know too much about tablets, so i'll point you to http://www.wacom.com/tabletwizard/index.cfmthis</a>, some of them might be a bit over $200, but the extra features might be nice.

Hi, great question. I have an Aiptek T-6000U. It's about a 5" drawing area with multiple driver moders where you can lock the pad area to screen are (super cool) or have it follow the pen like a mouse. The pressure sensetive tip is great because it lets you control airbrush pressure in photoshop and it has two buttons ona n index finger rocker. It also comes with a 3 button mouse you can wave on the tablet area, but honestly that's pretty shitty, I just plug an MS Intellimouse into my other USB port and use both (yes Windows AND Linux let you have two mice simutaneously).
I believe when I bought it back in 2001 it was $50. I don't know if they still make them but it's held up amazingly well. I'm very very hapy with it to this day. It may not have the bells and whistles of a Wacom but for what I use my tablet for, it's great. I actually prefer navigating my screen with a pen to using a mouse.
No clue about how its mac support is.

From what I understand it's the top of the line, or at least was a year or two ago, but the only problem is that it's for Macs ONLY! BUMMER! Oh well, I guess I have to break down and get a MacMini!!

Check the companies website out. I find it hard to believe that a company that makes a periphial device will only limit themselves to apple when there is a huge x86 market out there. There may be x86 drivers out there. Than again, maybe not!

Well, I checked around before actually. The thing is, the tablet is made with the ADB port, which is an Apple proprietary type bus, i think it stands for Apple Data Bus, or something like that. I looks a lot like a regular PS/2 port from what I can tell.
And there arent any converters for that port to a regular USB, or whatever. Hmm.. i always thought USB stood for UNIVERSAL serial bus, lol.
