It's insane how fast I could bond with someone. In the course of 6 days, we met each other, built up many feelings for each other, then vowed to each other to never talk again because LD relationships just don't work (me San Diego, her New York). Normally I'm not one to fall for someone in that short amount of time, but minus the responsibilities of life, we could have talked endlessly every single day. The beginning wasn't awkward at all as it tends to be for me, we shared many interests, and we both could make each other laugh a ton. But we both realized we were getting too into each other considering the chance we could ever meet would be very tiny. So we mutually agreed to cease talking to each other to avoid more pain. Every single time I have feelings for a girl that was accessibly close and has feelings for me too, the girl turns out to be a bitch, so of course with my luck I find someone unaccessibly far away that is perfect for me. Why does life have to suck so much? Urrrrgh.

Not true. I've been with my fiancee for 3 years now and I'm in Detroit, she's in Portland.

What I meant was there's very little chance of it working. Eventually the need for someone you can be with regularly tends to ruin it for most people, and in the past I've had problems keeping relationships with girls a couple hundred miles away let alone 3000 miles away. I'm sure she's had similar problems because we were both on the same level. It takes a high level of willpower and patience to keep a LD relationship going, and also as my mom has found out in the past, living far away from someone and living with someone can be two very different experiences, so even if you can finally live with the person, life with the person can turn out to be a lot worse than expected, so there's always that staring in the face.

Dear Mr. Crook,
Your problem lies in your lack of Oreo(TM) brand cookies. May I suggest visiting your local convenience store and purchasing a few for your enjoyment.
Sincerely,

I think maybe some Gushers(TM) and a Tombstone(TM) Rising Crust Pizza (R) would do.

or you could chain-smoke. that'll help you deal with the stress. then you could keep chain-smoking until you pass-out...and then uhhh...maybe the half-finished cigarette your holding will turn you into a burning funeral pyre after a few minutes.
actually, this is a really shitty idea. ignore this.

Dude, I'm going through a somewhat identicial time in my life. I dated this chick on and off for a few months. We were very close and then she tells me she just wants to be friends. It hurt when she told me, especially after I poured my heart out to her and told her much I cared about her and that I wanted a relationship. What killed me was when I saw her dating another guy. And then she has the nerve to ask why I hate her. It turned out that she was dating this guy the same time we were dating.

My ex dumped me in a similar fashion. She cut off contact with me for two months, then just says "I don't loveyou anymore".
I find the fact that the guy that she used as a cushion afterwards was the only guy that tried to court her while we were still together. But does she admit she's in a relationship with him? Noooooo.

I should add that my ex asked me the same thing. Well, she started dating again right after she dumped me, so... and the fact that she let her friends talk her into dumping me... and that she wasn't honest with me, hiding her real personality while she was around me... I could go on, but I won't.
Not again.
