Does anyone know where I could find a list of Sappy-compatible games? I could have sworn that Minish Cap was, and I um, have accquired a Minish Cap demo (as seen in stores such as Electronics Boutique) and planned to comb it to see if I could find any beta-type music tracks, but it's not working. I want to confirm wether it is sappy compatible or not. If so, I wonder why the demo would not work when Minish Cap (full) would work...that'd be odd.

It can't even create a GSFlib...I think I'm doing this right, seems rather self explanatory.

*edit*
Ok, the regular game doesn't work with sap tapper either, so I can safely assume I'm wrong I think. My next step then is to look for gameshark codes and see if they work on this like they do on the full version. I want to break this demo and go the places that are blocked off, just to see what I can find (probably nothing, heh, but the game dump is 8 megs...that's an awful lot for just three areas).. :D A list of Sappy games would still be nice though, for reference's sake.

*2nd Edit*
Ok, yes, it would appear they do....I tried one for the full game that should get me all the sword techs and it worked...sort of. It would appear they don't exist in this demo version yet I have the tiger scrolls (the same as they are in the real game) in my inventory.

Grab gba2midi from http://loveemu.client.jp

The file ofslist.txt included, is a fairly comprehensive list of all the sapphire driver games.

Ah, cool! This is a neat little program, a nice replacement for Sappy (the GBA Sapphire to MIDI convertor)...seems like it does the same thing yet is still being updated. I'll have to mess with it and see if I can get anything out of it.
Edited by The 9th Sage on 03/05/05 09:43 PM.

At the end of ofslist.txt, put this line.

BZHE,00A1C038,"Legend of Zelda - The Minish Cap Demo Cart",""

This should get you midi playback for this cart.

Ah, thanks...I had the BZHE part but not the 2nd...is that the offset for the music? btw, thanks also for taking a look at this for me. It's too bad that there was no beta music or anything, but I'm glad I actually know now.
