I heard that Dolphin was able to play Luigi's Mansion. It's on the compatable games list as well, so is this true?

if it is... it would probably only play with 1-10 FPS and graphical glitches galore

and since by the sounds of this he has no idea, I'd say your best bet would be to try it, although I'd agree on at least one point in that I wouldn't expect it to run at blazing speeds.
