is it possible to convert Project 64 savestates into 1964 save states?

1964 is able to read Project 64 save states.

I can see that it's supposed to be able to, but when I even load the game with the Project64.rdb file in the folder, or when I try to load state without it, I get an error message reading: "800C50EC: Exception in emulation thread" and when I hit ok, the whole thing closes.

I remember someone mentioning that there was a bug in 1964's loading of PJ64 save states, but I thought it was fixed in the most recent version.
Why are you trying to do this, anyway, if I might ask? I'm guessing it's in relation to the WPJ2 translation project. just to let you know I'll be looking at it sometime soon, I've disassembled it before when ripping the USF, if I find anything useful for you I'll let you know.
Edited by hcs on 02/17/05 04:52 PM.

Yes, that's it. I've never really used anything but PJ64 before, but now that I'm working on the project, I'm trying other emulators and finding some of them work better for certain things. 1964 works great except that WPJ2 tends to freeze right after the introduction. I can work around this and savestate on PJ64, but I don't seem to be able to get around it with 1964.
