well I was just sitting down listening to my tenchi muyo CD out of anything, just picked a CD at random and threw it in my player and as the CD was coming to an end the first verse popped into my head so naturally I get my ass into wordpad and write it down and then let it write itself and it turned out to be a HAPPY Kristy poem.. havnt had very many.. if any.. even Beth liked it .. she went WOW! and she usually gets upset at my Kristy stuff heh
The tears have subsided
the hurt has all but gone away,
but that doesnt mean
I dont think about you
each and every day.
The happiness, the smiles,
the good times, the bad,
I wouldnt trade it for anything,
despite all this pain I've had.
You're still evident in everything I do,
every wish, every dream,
every poem and song,
you're there in my heart,
where you've been all along
Kristy my angel,
the years as you know
havnt been very kind to me,
all I've had are these words,
hope in poetry.
Hope,
the one thing I've searched for
seemingly now for too long,
the one thing thats kept me going
since you've been gone.
You may be gone
bur forgotten,
you never will be,
because you'll always live
there in my heart,
and here in my poetry..
