Shit! I was just reading in the forums at gbadev and found http://www.thepernproject.com/ds/this</a> And here are some demos that dude made for the DS. Not only that but he is using an unreleased emulator hyperDS. I am just like FUCK! This just seems to be fast for all this on a new system!

This is the one thing about emulation I truely hate....ugh. I make a proposal:
Any DS emulators that are released, are not hosted by this site for at least 1 year. We are a community, not blood thirsty wolves.

This seems a bit fishy to me....I do know that code can be run on the actual DS via a whole bunch of trickery (I can get into what I know if you wish), but to have a fully working emulator (or at least one that is quite far along by the looks of it?) at this point? This isn't the GBA...so far as I know there weren't full tech documents leaked to the public. :P
It's nice to see that apparently someone knows how to utilise the 3-D hardware in some fashion, I love homebrew stuff (looking at the demo running on the actual DS) but if this is an emulator I have a bad feeling it's going to be like the early GBA situation...a horribly inaccurate emulator, where old demos will not work on real hardware because of that.
Although, the Pern Project has been around for awhile in the GBA part of things...so..hm. I do see he has 'emulator friendly' versions of the demo, so perhaps this is the case...that it's just not a good emulator yet (and I'm sure the system requirements of such a thing will be interesting in the least). I mean, I know there's people working on stuff (of course there is) but I haven't really heard anything concrete yet.
Anyway, enough of me babbling. :P
