Hmmm...
L., a really cute friend of mine from high school (I see her every now and then, along with the rest of a group of my friends from high school) IM'ed me asking if I want to go do something together lately. So I'm going to see her on Thursday night. I'm not sure what to think... she didn't call it a date, and she had a boyfriend when I last saw her, but that was two months ago. She mentioned as a reason for getting together the fact that she wants to pay back money I lent her, but I'm sure she knows she doesn't have to give it back in any hurry, because when I lent it I told her she could take however long she needed. Oh well, it'll be nice to see her either way. She's a really fun person to be with. She has a sort of contagious mirth. The mother of J., another friend of mine, doesn't like L. because she thinks L. is a ditz (flake). But that's not true. L. may giggle and laugh a lot (in a cute way, not in an annoying way) because she happens to be a very merry person, but she's intelligent, too, and there are times when she's as serious as anyone else. But then, J.'s mother tends to be very cynical about a lot of things (she's not a badly-intentioned person, just very pessimistic and cynical).
