I am looking for a good adapater to hook my PS2 controller up to my PC to use in emulators.

I found this one at Lik-Sang: is it any good?

http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=23&products_id=93&

It has the bonus of being able to use an N64 controller also. Can anyone suggest any other good or better ones?

I got a PS Controller to USB adapter from Radioshack...dunno if it can support PS2 controllers, but it was really cheap...not more than 15 bucks, can't remember the price.

If you can and are really serious about getting a good N64 controller adapter, try to find an Adaptoid. Seriously, these things are awesome. You can use actual Rumble Paks and Memory Cards with emulators and everything.

Radioshack eh? Nice, I will check them out when I get the chance. Thanks for the tip.

I bought mine from Radio Shack a few years ago as well. It has been discontinued, and they no longer sell them or anything similar (that's what they told me anyway). The one I bought from them does indeed support PS2 controllers.
Mine is black and has RadioShack printed on it with a red led light that blinks when plugged in. I can't find any pics of it online.

An N64 controller would be interesting...but a Saturn controller would RULE...

Actually I found this and ordered it. Nice and cheap, and I found a review on google on it and it should be good.

Looks identical to the one I got from Radio Shack, aside from the fact that mine's blue instead of white. Should be a good unit, as I've not had any problems with mine. <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>

I'm using it for n64 and so far it's quite good. I've heard that it's not perfect for the n64, but I haven't had any problems with it (and the psx controller use was perfect).

So yeah, I ended up getting the Radioshack one. Works perfectly, and it was pretty neat to find out that N64 rumble features on games work on the PS2 controller. :D

Heh, weird. I have to say though, I never got the rumble working...in ePSXe anyway. Never tried it with anything else.

Wow, I just read about a saturn controller for ps2! This and a USB adapter should fit you like a glove <img src=smilies/cwm11.gif>

Got it to work here, but ended up disabling it since ePSXe seems to like to randomly crash when it goes to rumble the pad sometimes.<img src=smilies/banghead.gif>

in other words, ePSXe's rumble function just sucks right now... wonder when they intend on fixing it.
