Ok. Since about 2pm today, Fox has been showing the Superbowl Pre-game show.. the pre-pre-pre-gameshow. The preliminary pre-game pregame show and the pre-gameshow. Then the stupid superbowl comes on. it ENDS..
BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... they have to show the idiots on the winning or losing team and ask them what they think about it. The STUPERBowl should have ended at 9PM.
Simpsons were next, then American Dad.
It is 9:58PM Central Time right now.. what am I watching? The Simpsons, and it started when? At 9:46PM. The superbowl AFTER-GAME show ran over, so now the simpsons is 45 minutes late...but the gay news at 10PM probably has to start, so American Dad gets pre-empted.
FUCK YOU FOX. FUCK YOU FOOTBALL. This is why good shows get cancelled, because you show CRAP ALL DAY LONG, and when its time to show something GOOD, you pre-empt it with some other worthless drivel.

Here in New Jersey they're still fucking rambling about the game. The Philadelphia-based local news followed the post-game show.

I totally forgot that the Superbowel(sic) happened today...I could never stand American football. It all just seemed so slow and boring.

There was a football game today? How many goals did they score? ...
...
Seriously, I could of cared less about the damn game today. Only sport I really care about that has to do with physical activity is NBA basketball. Even then, I don't get to watch much of it. I was referring to it all day today as "the stupidbowl" because it just felt appropriate. Thankfully TO didn't get a super bowl ring...that fucker. There is NO appeal to watching this thing anymore...it is NOT what it used to be. Now it's all about the marketing/advertising and what they can squeeze out of the whole thing surrounding the game...and nothing about the game itself. If I had a choice I'd much rather watch the NCAA BCS bowl games then some stupid professional game that is more of a spectacle then an actual GAME. I worked at my job all day today from 8am to 10pm...and I'm so fucking tired...over 12 hours of hearing about this stupid game has made my ears bleed.

Simpsons didn't come on till 11:45. Grrr....
American Dad was pretty funny, though. Bush's conversation with God had me rolling on the floor.

It was the fucking SUPERBOWL.
Get a grip on reality. Of -course- every station is going to be covering it, it's one of the largest media events of the year. While you're sitting in your dank little room hating the sun, people were out having parties and having a blast watching the big game.
It's a waste of breath to get pissed off about something that happens once per year. I'm sure you can go back to watching cartoons at normal times tomorrow.

It's the SuperBowl, people love it. You didn't have to watch any of the pregame stuff that other people enjoy or the interviews afterwards. I mean, what do you accomplish by being all pissed off about it?
You don't like Fox? You don't like football? Don't watch either. American Dad's position after the superbowl is a good thing... unfortunately I didn't get to watch it (I was busy losing at hold'em and putting down guinness). Hopefully they replay it soon.

They do? Well, gee, I guess I'm not a person, then. Tell me, how is it up there on your high horse?

Seriously. If I wanted to watch grown men groping each other - or as they call it, "tackling" each other - I would just cut out the middle man and download gay porn.

I liked American Dad, I could get into it. I can't say the pilot was up to Family Guy par, but I'll have to see more shows before I make a judgement on it. I certainly got some laughs of out of! Stan's character I like a lot.. there's a lot they'll be able to do with the CIA agent... the terror alert on the refridgerator was hilarious. The fish and the alien were okay. Bush's conversation with God was pretty good, I liked it when Cheney was on the other line and God said, "Yes sir?" haha.
A little chaotic so far, I'm interested to see how he develops these characters.

Yeah, I don't know how optimistic I am about its future. It seemed a bit forced, despite having some hilarious parts. I think its strength was in the political humor, so it should probably stick with that.

I would imagine you could get a lot of gay porn WITH a middle man still involved.

Yeah, I agree. The word I was looking for was "forced" whereas Family Guy always felt natural.
