What's a good one? I really want to back up these seasons of Voyager to my 250 gb harddrive. Is this possible? I actually have a DVD burner, so how would this work and what could I use?

Cool. I see this program puts it on the harddrive.. could it be easily burned onto a blank DVD again for backupage?

While I've never used the burn feature on DVD Decrypter, usually when I'm *Ahem* "Backing up" DVDs, I rip them using Decrypter, then shrink them with DVD2One. Then, just use Nero to burn. I think out of the 450+ that myself and my father have done, we've burned... 3 coasters?

I have heard good things about DVD2One. Personally I use DVDShrink, it's extremely simple, some very simple tutorials at www.doom9.org
I have also used the DVD Decrypter burn feature and it works great, only made one coaster out of 150-200, and that was a comp problem I think.

I used to use DVDShrink, but it gave me a lot of problems with some discs. I was a lot happier when I switched over to DVD2One -- I think it's a better program overall.

I also use CLAD DVD sometimes depending on what I'm doing...it's good about copying a whole movie into one VOB and in the right aspect ratio as well. That last part wouldn't matter so much unless you were going to re-encode the file.
