So my roomate's away at Burning Man. (BTW, he's a bastard because I wanted to go but oh well. It's cool though because that means 2 weeks of earning all the money as a care provider.) So, I get up at 9AM to shower and dress our guy, sleep about an hour at a time on the couch between doing things for him, feel tired as hell when I put him to bed at 12AM, but then stay up until 6AM, and repeat. Is that messed up or what? I've always been like this. There's been periods of up to a week at a time that I didn't seen the light of day when I was jobless. It totally messes up school and work for me. If it wasn't for the fact that, to quote Carl "I work outta da home", I would be totally screwed. Heaven help me.

You work as a caregiver for an elderly, physically disabled, or mentally disabled person?

Physically disabled, he's a quadriplegic. A good man and a good friend.

Wow, that's got to be hard work. I guess it's rewarding, though, especially since it's for a good person.
