Since we were short-staffed today and it was truck day, we put a sign at the one hour counter saying the machine was broken. Of course, it really wasn't, but management did it so they wouldn't have to do it.
"We're sorry, but the one-hour photo machine is down and will not be fixed until tomorrow."
This basically translates to: "We don't want to fucking develop your film today."
Heh heh heh.

Well, it wasn't really anyone's fault, just nobody was scheduled. I got the fun job of staying up front for 8 hours... Though I'm glad I had to do little with regards to film.

Maybe you can answer something I've wondered about: Do the people doing the film development ever look at the photos?

Yeah, I've wondered if they ever have the machine churn out a few extra copies of certain photos.

Yes. The photo person(s) are required to go through the pictures to make sure there is no child pornography in them. If so, then they cannot be sold to anyone under 18. I don't actually develop because I haven't learned it. You're supposed to after 6 months, but I've been there a year. Oh well. I don't care. It's extra BS work.
We've seen some lame shots like a shot of 24 farm fields, wood chips, grass, etc. Nobody was in the shots either.

Well, that's what my directions are. Nobody under 18 can get it. So I guess I'd be able to legally.

So a 17-year-old who takes nude pictures of himself/herself wouldn't be able to get his/her pictures back, but a 45-year-old guy who took pictures of naked little kids wouldn't have any problem???

Remember, this is for the one hour machine that this rule applies to. The overnight is a different story. Anyway, what you said is basically true.

I do shit like that at Dunkin' Donuts all the time, especially with the Coolatta and ice machines. It's fun and gets rid of a lot of asshole customers.

Long live Sega Dreamcast. It's still thinking after all these years, unless you left it to collect dust in your room or garage. Same on you, Dreamcast is a damn good system.
