I loved the first one but never tried the second one. Anyone played it ? How is it ? Is it worth buying ?

I just got it today. I still need to beat the alst boss on Prime before I dive into Prime 2. I can't beat the second form. The room full of endless, splitting color-coded metroids and Prime's first form kick my ass too much.
But that's probably because Prime is the first FPS I've played since Wolf 3D and Doom, and I really suck at them.

I like to add a question to that.
What about controls? The 1st one was hard for me because of the controls. I like it where the right hand looks(with no inverted up and down) and left moves, with left and right strifing. I hate turning in 1st person games. I can do that with the free look and move around. (Basically, mouse and keyboard style)

I remember Prime being a real bitch (especially when I first tired fighting it...and the next 2 or 3 hours after that...and I consider myself GOOD at that game). The best tip I could give is to first and foremost avoid it's attacks (rather than concentrating solely on causing damage to it). Especially the various 'energy ball' projectiles. Shoot then down before they get to you (usually a few charge shots or 'super missle' type charge shots will do it), because they are a BITCH. Other than that...those fission metroid (the splitting ones) die real easily with a certain weapon that is not a beam weapon. That is all. <img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif>

If you loved the first one, you'll like this one too. The controls are pretty much exactly the same. I'll be honest: I'm not too keen on Dark Aether because you get damaged when not in the light of a Luminoth beacon or rod. I'm a little ways into it, but got stalled. I'm attempting to get my Boost Ball back ;P

Its good better than first prime. I like the classic music, screw attack and wall jumping. though, they should have used more walljumping areas.
