Tomorrow night, I'm driving down a wee bit to Beekman, LA to visit a few friends before I go back to school, on sunday.

RATTLESNAKE!! With oysters on a 1/2 shell!

I haven't had ne in a while! this is gonna be great. I have so been cravin oysters..But sunday, when i get back.. cafeteria food is gonna be so... BLEHH...

Guys, be nice if/ when I get online friday night! No taking advantage of the seafood! :P

Nutria rat? Yes and they have great fur! I had a pet one too. It was kinda hard to eat one after that, but i got over it. Squirrel? Easy!Shot it, cooked it, ate it. Went frog gigging friday night. Man they were good. Goat? Yea.. tha's a easy one. rabbit? same as the squirrel. I only had shark once. oh yea, and gator's good.

I've got a mini bottle of tabasco that i keep in my backpack :D And I've got my Tony's! That stuff saved me last year!

How does one prepare rattlesnake? Do you eat the rattle? It seems so repulsive, yet it's something I'd like to try. Now if I can find one in my yard (a rattlesnake in Jersey, yeah right!), then all I'd have to do is kill 'em and throw it in my TurboCooker (www.turbocooker.com).

They're good fried. Grilled is pretty good too. I wouldn't recommend eating the rattle though. oh, and Snake jerky is kinda Tough to chew! :D

1. Jersey in the house!
2. We've got rattlers. Just look hard. They were all over my camp site up in Blairstown. I imagine that they're all over South Jersey too.
