I think the real question should be, if you have to go to a chain pizza place, which one should you choose? It's a tough call between Pizza Hut and Papa John's for me. On the other hand, I've never had a Domino's pie that didn't taste simply awful. <img src=smilies/puke.gif>

People's Pizza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey (We have a shitty chain around here by the same name, this one is not affiliated with them in anyway, it's a family-owned place)

Chain pizza? East of Chicago, Donatos or Pizza Hut are all good for me.

I went to New York for the first time this summer. We were in times square, looking for something to eat, and this dude handed us a Ray's flyer. We were all "Oh! New York Pizza! Shit's supoosed to be good!"

Ray's Pizza tastes like the carboard with tomato paste and cheese our school cafeteria used to serve.

Sally's. New Haven Connecticut.
Used to have to wait in line a half hour. Just to order.
Domino's bites. Papa Johns is slightly better, but not much.

Never heard of it. If you ever are around the Toledo area, check out JoJo's Pizza. First pizza I ever had and is good stuff.

the operative word there was TIMES SQUARE

that's the new york we save for fat, midwestern housewives. "golly, look at them big TVs and lights!"

take a walk south of 42nd some time...that's where all the good stuff is

Should've gotten here a few years earlier than what ya' did...down here we had a place called Late Nite Pizza...I haven't had pizza that good since, or even close to it. I don't know what it was that they did differently...but whatever it was...damn...nothin' like it.

American Flatbread, here in Burlington, VT. Not the type of pizza that you get if you are going to have an all night LAN party or a movie night, but the type of place you go to have a great time with a ton of your friends. The pizzas are made in an open stone oven right in front of you and DAYMMMN are they good. Expensive, but good.

Crazy Bread in Boston is great as well.

We went the wrong way then, we were actually staying on 42nd. I think. it was 40-something and Lexington. I know that for sure. I'd probably remember better if we stayed more than a weekend. That's what I get for spending it with a friend whose sole purpose for going was that thought he was going to find a plasma TV that "Fell off the truck" on Canal St.

The next day wasn't so bad though, we got table barbecue in Korea Town, and let me tell you, table barbecue is THE SHIT. And Arrepas. We bought those from a street vendor. And let me tell you, Arrepas from a street vendor are better than Ray's Fucking Famous Pizza, LOL.
