I've been allured by the sexiness of the new PSTwo, but I need to ditch my current one before I go buying another one. This post is really just to see if anyone is interested in an old-style PS2 with swap-magic discs for playing imports. Here's what you get:
1 PS2. I believe it's Version 2. Drive door has been removed to allow the use of a slide card.
1 Set of swap magic discs. Includes a DVD and a CD for playing backups/imports/emulators on your PS2. I paid $25 for these just a few months ago, and they're not compatible with the new PSTwo.
1 Slide card. Used for opening the drive door while the PS2 is running without pressing the eject button. Used with the Swap magic discs.
1 Official controller. Brand new. I'll include the one that comes with the PSTwo so you have a shiny new controller to play with.
Normal set of A/V and Power cables.
The PS2 is not modded, but it will play import games and emulators when you use the Swap Magic discs. I've never tried playing backups on it, but it's supposed to be possible. Works great with SNES-Station. Sometimes has trouble reading CD media. If you're making emulator discs, use DVDs if you can. Reads DVDs flawlessly. Also, it has to be placed on its side. If it's placed upright, it won't read any discs at all.
If anyone's remotely interested in this, let me know, and tell me how much you'd be willing to pay for it. Should include all the original packaging, if I can remember where I put the styrofoam blocks.
