I'm burned out...I can't find something. I need to replace the lift kit on my chair. The pneumatic thing is dead and the tube is touching the floor from a busted up base. The top of the chair is awesome...I've had it for years.
Help?

Well you might want to start by putting "office chair repair (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&q=office+chair+repair&btnG=Search)" into Google.

Does this site have what you need? http://www.swivel-chair-parts.com/CylinderPostPage.html
Or here: http://www.dealtime.com/xDN-Furniture--office-swivel_chair_parts

This is too expensive. A new chair is $100...these parts would run me $75.

Isn't the first link that comes up some kind of web site that has chair parts?
What kind of a chair is this anyways? Perhaps the manufacturer has parts for it.
