Im having problems with epsxe. All of the sudden, I can't hear XA audio or CDDA (MK Trilogy for example, I have both the original and an ISO) I was playing Rage Racer with music and suddenly it stopped and never came back. I tried to fiddle with all the cdr plugins, windows options, epsxe options, subchannel reading, to no avail. So I decide to reinstall epsxe. Well when I went to their website...well they say a picture is worth a thousand words:

first of all, don't you keep a copy of the install file in your dloads folder?

secondly, if anything, it's their ad service, it's in the right location to be the ad service... well, anyways, the project's only control over their ad service is to either have it, or not.

anyways get this (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and this (http://www.privacyeraser.com/free-internet-eraser.htm) and finally this (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html)

the last one is probably the most important, trust me.

you install those three programs and you have nothing to worry about... if you are using ie or myie2 you may want to get the google search bar as well

EDIT: i just looked at your image again and realized you are using firefox, so just nix the whole google search bar part

I went there, I never had any spyware attempt to install. I see you're using Firefox, under the tools menu, click options, then web features. Uncheck 'Allow web sites to install software' and that should help.

google-bar is pointless for firefox users, the main reason i recommend using it for ie users is that it has the best pop-up blocking thingy of all the ie-based pop-up blockers

The FireFox GoogleBar is a lot more feature rich than the vanilla search box is. If you ever use any of Google's more specific searches, it's pretty useful. It's also useful to have "search within site" right on a button, on hand, ready to do your bidding. :)

Hell, if you really wanted you could fiddle with some IE settings so that it would search Google when you entered stuff into the address bar. That must mean the IE GoogleBar is useless since I don't think the thing most people thought when they got the GoogleBar was 'wow, it blocks pop-ups!'. . :P
