Ok, I don't have a lot of time, because my ride is going to be here soon ( 4:00 AM =P ). I've been away from the forums a lot this week because I was busy preparing for Otakon (e.g. my Jet Black costume that I left for the last minute =P ). I'll be away for a few days, but you can be sure I'll bring back pictures. =)

Just remember: Cosplay is love.

...Or horror incarnate (http://www.exploitationnow.com/d/20011022.html), as the case may be. =P ;)

You are so lucky. If I was going to go, I was going to cosplay as one of the two people in my sigfnature, more than likely Zelgadis. Hn...lots of blue paint...yes...

Well, I'm back! =)
It was a lot of fun (except for Sunday, because I spent most of Sunday frantically figuring out how to get myself and two of my friends back to NYC (the guy that drove us to the con had to leave early because his son had a bad asthma attack, so the guy rushed back to NY early in order to be with his son in the hospital /wwwthreads/images/icons/frown.gif)).

Even though it was my first real anime costume attempt, I got a lot of compliments, and a lot of people asked me to pose for pictures (I'll post my own pictures once I get them developed), which made all the painstaking preparation worthwhile. ^_^

Something I found odd was that although there were a lot of people playing Spike and Faye (and there were a few Eds too), I was the only Jet Black in the entire convention, as far as I know. Well, all the more attention for me, I guess! (Various kids, on seperate occassions, told me I'm their hero.<img src=smilies/magbiggrin.gif> But best of all, I gut hugged by Fayes! <img src=smilies/biggthumpup.gif><img src=smilies/biggthumpup.gif><img src=smilies/biggthumpup.gif>)

I just finished watching the DVDs of Mahou Tsukai Tai that I bought there, volumes 4 and 5. (I don't own 1-3 myself, but I've seen them.) I need to buy 6 and 7 soon. ;)

Hmm... what else... oh yeah, I attended the second Megatokyo panel (which was hilarious-- especially Dom), and I got to talk to Piro for a few seconds afterward.

Yawn... I'm tired. I'll post more after I get some sleep. <img src=smilies/sleep.gif>

What, is that a Doom level that looks like the Baltimore Convention Center and is populated by Vashes, Spikes, Sephiroths, and assorted Nekos? <img src=smilies/cwm27.gif>

oh oh oh!!! if you see him tell him to stop drawing so many of those damn sad looking chicks, its becoming ridicilous!!
every new comic has atleast 5 sad looking chicks in it, even when they are having a nice conversation..

that piro dude must really hang out with some depressed chicks in real life<img src=smilies/freak3.gif>

every chick he draws looks like she has just been stabbed in the guts!

He actually brought that up once or twice before. He said he doesn't know why he does it, but it's even became a running gag in the comic. The "unhappy girl in the snow" happy place <img src=smilies/eek13.gif>
