If you want to try and have a reasonable discussion about something, I'd suggest refraining from sexist remarks. It kind of dampens your credibility. :>
Edited by Prower on 10/23/04 11:06 PM.

Umm....what'd she do now....so long as she didn't pull a Dickhead Cheany and tell a senator to fuck off, then I fail to see the problem.

Well, one time she got a ticket for parking next to a fire hydrant and paid to have the hydrant moved. If that doesn't spell "rich bitch" I don't know what would.

He's probably making a double-edged barb about both Heinz's questionable alienation of the voting American Mother (attacking Laura Bush as never having a "real" job, then failing to remedy the matter by acknowleding that she was a teacher and librarian. If she was tactful, she would have made a heart-warming speech on how her and Laura Bush's best jobs have been mothers.) and her incredibly ugly dog-like mug.

I don't care what she says. You're the one who should be upset, she can't be good for Kerry when she says stupid things like this in the spotlight, and then gives insincere campaign-written apologies hours later.

Good lord.
I thought guys like you went out in the 80's.
First off from the first statement in your post, you're obviously a male chauvanist pig (or you've been listening to Rush too long)
Secondly, with the lameass attacks on both sides, it's nice to see one female standing by her man.
Jeez, I wanna see a catfight.

not that your sentence makes sense or anything..

But I saw it on a biography of Bush and Kerry.

She didn't remove it per se. just had it converted to an over-sized catsup dispenser.

but i do agree with Danoz - she is thick and rich.

(thank you i'll be here all week)

Don't even get me started. Their lead singer sounds like he inhales the contents of a helium balloon before every song.

Hey. Tom Sawyer is a good song. Although Deasy's version is better.

That doesn't make them bad (although they aren't particularly good either. Supertramp has a similar lead singer and they were a great band.

I was mostly joking, but they do irritate the heck out of me. Guess it's just not my style.

Okay, I'm a sexist. This forum becomes more of a joke everyday. I was more than obviously directing my comments towards one, particular person because of her actions. If you have a problem, lock or delete the thread, don't play with my words to feel more powerful. I said,
"John Kerry should put a muzzle on his wife if he wants to win this election." That's sexist, how? She made an elitist statement against teachers, librarians and full-time mothers. I'll say what I want, it had nothing to do with sexism. Get a grip. Even my professors agreed with the statement, and they were upset because her words actually can hurt John Kerry's being elected.

alright, chill out. maybe it was a bit much to edit the post. but still you have a forceful way of putting things sometimes. not that I blame you in this case.

but i'm just being sympathetic cuz i don't like that bitch. my ex-girlfriend's mom is one of those hyphenated surname women and i hate her. not because of that just everything about her and it's the icing on the cake.

Hey now, I'm getting better . I could have been more constructive in the development of the post, but I wasn't criticised for not being constructive-- I was accused of being sexist. Had prowler PMed me, I would have gladly edited the post to be more constructive myself. It was also more of a humor post, anyway... but I should realise by now I can't tell jokes about Democrats here, people get edgy. We should all admit that what she said was stupid.

well i think it helps when a non-fanboy criticizes one of the 2 main parties. so let me give it a try:

I think she's a stupid bitch. i'm not voting for bush or kerry but if I had to vote for mrs. bush or mrs. heinz-kerry, i'd vote mrs. bush in a fucking heartbeat. i don't like heinz-kerry's attitude or demeanor.

in the immortal words of Cartman:

She's the biggest bitch in the whole wide world..
She's a mean old bitch, and she has stupid hair
She's a bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch!
Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch
She's a Stupid bitch!

Again, I do apologize about that. By the time it was already done there was no practical way of reversing it, and there were more appropriate actions I could have taken either way. It won't happen again. :>

I believe she's got just as much a right to free speech as anyone, and as quite a few people have made moronic statements during this campaign, she's entitled also.
But Pudu, I do agree.
She is a bitch.

There was no "playing with words."

What do you put a muzzle on? An animal, which, in this context, is probably a dog. So, putting two and two together, your sentence has this subtext: Kerry's wife is his dog and it's Kerry's job to restrain her. Sounds a bit chauvinist, eh?

from that perspective totally true. however who's running for office of president of the US? not Heinz-Kerry. so maybe kerry should tell his wife to shut up so she don't ruin things for him.

as for bush, he doesn't need his wife's help. he says all the stupid things himself and with the aid of his fabulously tactful cabinet.
