View Full Version : President George W. Bush Senile?

I saw this article (http://www.onlinejournal.com/Special_Reports/091804Mazza/091804mazza.html) in a magazine over the weekend, and found it online for your perusal.

What struck me was that President Bush was not always such an inarticulate speaker. When he was debating for the Texas gubenatorial race with Ann Richardson, he was not anywere near as incohereent, babbling, pausing, and confused as he has been in these elections. I thought he had always been this way, and it was attributed to a family history of dyslexia. However, since dyslexia is a lifelong illness, and not a progressive one, it would leave me to believe that this may be of some concern to the American people. Now, I'm not saying "DON'T VOTE DUBYA!!! HE'S INSANE!!", but rather just bringing the possibility to light....b/c you know that no one in the administration would even entertain the thought w/o crushing it before any news source, credible or not, got their hands on it. Afterall, he dodged a medical exam before, and you can damn well bet he'll continue to do so, and even if he was "independently evaluated" they'd never admit to him being in the early stages of senile demential.

Just something to think about.....

wow...that is one wildly inflammatory theory. say what you want about bush, but jeez...medical conjecture based off of what, essentially nothing? word to the wise...never quote an article from the online journal. any publication that puts 'sic' after every mention of president has no reputability to speak of.

stop wasting our time, and at least discuss the issues when criticizing the president.

Damn dude....chill. It wasn't an online journal....it was a magazine, not an e-zine. All I wanted to do was make people think for a second based on the presented evidence. I'm not here to criticize....just to make you go "hmm....that's interesting, I wonder if there is any truth or clout to this?" and spawn a discussion from there.

If I wanted to lambast the president, i would've referred to him as "Crazy ol' Dubya" not "President George W. Bush".

So calm the fuck down and get a grip.....you don't like it....don't fucking read it.

It's just more conspiracy rhetoric with no basis. The BCC printed an article with the idea that president Bush was "wearing a wire" during the debates so that people could feed him answers. This, all because he had a "buldge" in his shirt. It's just overkill, and people are obviously getting tired of it.

Either that, or they think he's a dumbass.

He's a dumbass. He supports the war. I'm against the war. He's for Death Penality and I'm against that. Two main reasons why I hate him.

Exactly....that's why its nonsensical....maybe I should've tagged it with "For entertainment only....not necessarily to be taken seriously"

Yeah, I heard about that....that my friend, is what we like to call "too far"

> It's just overkill, and people are obviously getting tired of it.

Eh, judgement call....I still think he's a dumbass blinded by his uber-right wing agenda.
(Which, BTW, DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING....I have an opinon based on my observations with no facts other than what I see to back it up.....this is only to be taken as an "I'm just sayin...." kinda thing....nothting literal or debatable)

Allow me to apply the Right-Wing filter:

"He's a dumbass." => "I'm a dumbass, and I hate America"

"He supports the war. I'm against the war." => "I am against the troops and what they are doing....I hate America and all it stands for...go Iraq and Terrorists! GO!"

"He's for Death Penality and I'm against that." => "I am a liberal pussy that doesn't want to hurt anyone, even though they killed 20 people and ate their dead bodies. I just want to hug and love everone...there are no criminals, in fact, why do we even have prisions? There should be no law and governemnt, fuck America!"

Glad I could clarify that for everyone. Have a nice day.

Hrmm... Looks like you have an anger problem. Calm down. Geez. I never said ''I hate America'' I dislike the war and the death penality and Bush support both. Bush just happen to be USAs president, but I hate all the president who support those things. Dude. if you absolutly want to post something, at least, read the whole post carefully.

Whoa whoa whoa....wait a minute....my post was complete sarcasm directed at republicans (well, anything political really) for their tendancy to apply spin to what is said to demonize people who disagree with their policy and point of view.

This was in NO way an attack on you personally, and was not meant to be taken literally.

Wow....I'm not having good luck with posts today....maybe I should lay off the sarcasm and stick to the literal and serious like I usually do.

Oh... Sorry about that... but your post didn't look like sarcasm at first look.

That is the best thing I have ever read in the backroom. I understand that it was satirical, but my girlfriend and I were laughing out loud as I read this post. <img src=smilies/laff.gif>

It's great that in your humor you can be so, so right ;)

He’s a "dumbass" because he doesn't share your obviously enlightened opinion? Why are you marked by hatred? I don't "hate" John Kerry. I believe that he honestly wants a safe and prosperous world, but different people have different ideas about how to achieve such a world. Stick to your own opinions and try to support them with something other than calling those you disagree with "dumbasses". It only shows the rest of us that you're spouting the rhetoric your mom fed you and you can't support it with anything but incessant whining.

I don't HATE him, I just don't like him. If I was to hate him, it would not be because he doesn't share my opinions but because he take decisions that I think, are stupid decisions, like being for the war and supporting the death penality.
