just got this email from my mom....
Hi, Christa --
Well, I got the results of the last testing they did and.....
......they didn't find =anything=. Not just that they found I didn't have anything wrong, but they didn't find anything at all! The 1 1/4 inch sized tumor that was on my ovary isn't there now.
*Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!* (Scream. Happy scream.....) I don't know if it was from faith/prayers/blessings in combination with the different therapies I've been using or what, but for the time being, I'm perfectly normal. Well, okay ..... let me rephrase that. I'm cancer-free . LOL! I'm feeling kinda giddy tonight because I am soooooooo relieved!!!!!!! Jay is estatic as you might guess and the kids were all so excited when we told them tonight. What does it all mean? I don't know. I still plan to have the BRCA gene testing done at some point in the not-too-distant future, I hope, so that we can all know whether or not this needs to be a major concern for us.
Well, I need to go. We're winding down the day here.
Love,
Mom
YAY!!!!!!!!! Isn't she evil to do the little intro pause? GAH! I'm really happy that she doesnt have cancer... or even the tumor anymore. It doesnt mean she doesnt have the gene, but... yes... this is good! :) . It's such a relief!... and I've been worrying so much *rubs her tummy*. This is such a gdamn load off.

Yeah, that nearly gave me a heat attack! (uh, metaphorically speaking) =P
Though you partially responsible for that, since you didn't use a smile topic icon! *Jacob tries to give Christa a stern, reproachfull look, which cause Christa to giggle, which cause Jacob to giggle too*
More importantly though, *Gives Christa a hug!*
That's great news!!!<img src=smilies/biggthumpup.gif><img src=smilies/biggthumpup.gif><img src=smilies/biggthumpup.gif>

Hehehe, I didn't even think of it at the time, but I guess my current avatar provided a nice illustration for that "stern, reproachfull look". =)

HUGFEST 2002! BE THERE OR BE SQUARE... and unhugged.
...on a whim, I checked just now to see if there really is an event by that name, and sure enough, Google (http://www.google.com/) turned up Hugfest 2002 (http://www.hugsclub.com/index3.html). =P
