I love ZMD it’s like a reality show soap opera, it’s got everything! Villains, heroes, characters that you can relate to, they make you mad, laugh, cry (not really), think, shake your head, wonder and best of all they keep you wondering what plot devices they will utilize next.

I’ve been coming here for quite a while now, mostly just for the entertainment value and some times just to feel the tension amongst the characters. I sometimes have to remind myself that you’re all real people and not just some dramatic fiction taking place just for my entertainment.

To show my appreciation for all of the interesting story lines being interwoven here on a daily basis I’ve written an overview of some of the best characters that play their parts here on ZMD.

No real offence intended, if your mentioned it’s only because your some of my favorites and I do realize that there’s obviously more to your characters than what I mention.

SwampGas (Ultimate Member)
Ultimate disillusioned megalomaniac, ruler and king of all that is Zophars Domain.
Created the Diary board so he wouldn't have pay someone to listen to his problems.

puduhead (Ultimate Pudu)
Coolest character on the board. (Cool like the Fonz! And I seriously mean it, I like this guy , he's real!)

wingless (Ultimate Female)
Likes cheap attention, isn't above playing the: I don't want to post my picture, just to post it so she can have all the sexually deprived members inflate her ego. (I wonder if a member has ever masturbated to one of her pictures?... shudder!)
PS: I'm happy to see you back as of recent, I love your sexually charged dramatic flair.

StormsInHerEyes (Genius_loci)
Only posts so that people will pander to her unstable emotional state.

Fla Flash (Last Man Standing)
Well, what can I say about the Fla Flash... He's like the Michael Jackson of ZMD, forever young, loves to mingle with the kids. Has that parental quality (End of discussion!).

Danoz (Et Spiritus Sanci....)
Poster child for the saying:

Has been yelled at and degraded most of his life, which is why he is the first to yell and degrade people when the slightest opportunity arises. (Sharp comebacks and attacks are usually a sign that you’ve heard them all before i.e. Aimed at you.)

SpaceTiger (Somewhere)
The good looking girl who hangs out with the ugly chick so she can be more confident of how good looking she is. (I know you’re a guy, this was the only good comparison that I could think of as an analogy to you being a Princeton student yet you hang out on a board with a bunch of people who should be your intellectual inferiors. It can’t be all that rewarding beating people down with your superior neural prowess so I can only assume that your like a neo Danoz, your too smart to realize that maybe your really just dumb.)

fairykiller (In Wonderland)
Female equivalent of SpaceTiger and Danoz all rolled up into one. (Please come back I miss your opinioned drama queen antics.)

Bmecoli (Ball Humper)
King of the self sabotage victim mentalities, he’s like that girl who always gets into relationships with guys that beat them, feels most at home when being abused. Can always count on him for making you feel embarrassed for him.

anyway, while i can stand for what you say about the others, i must disagree with your assessment of kirsten, i.e. stormsinhereyes.

to know her is to love her...she has this facade that's sometimes angry, sometimes sarcastic, but inside. a pure angel. her compassion is boundless, and her love of the simple things...music, books, poetry...makes you love them, too.

also, she's the romantic we all wish we were, living and breathing love as if it were oxygen. her devotion to love, and the way she professes its beauty will make you a believer, too.

and her understanding...it's like a sixth sense. she reads you like a book, making you feel totally vulnerable. but in her hands, it's a vulnerableness you can't help but accept and cherish. no matter her troubles, she'll take you in her arms, and support you with the strength a girl like her shouldn't have, but somehow does.

kirsten is a poet, a lover, an empath, and my friend. trash me all day long, but not her.

if i was in the show days of our lives, i would be that guy victor. i haven't watched that show since my grandmother stopped watching it like ten years ago, but there was this victor guy...he sorta just towered over everyone else...a real grey-haired, mustachioed fucker who would try to kill everyone, then sort of just get on their side again. he was a smooth fucker. but don't get me started on that one french guy. what the fuck was his problem? he was obsessed with some girl, so he wanted to kill this guy john, and one time he kidnapped him and had a fucking GUILLOTINE. that was the shit. i'm serious, that was fucking awesome, but for a GIRL? no way man, that's pathetic, if you're going to kill someone, it better not be over some bitch. seriously, that just screams "I am not strong enough to live without the woman I am about to kill you for" what a fucknut. although to tell the truth, that victor guy was probably trying to kill people over some woman. i don't quite remember. but at least he wasn't all french about it. jesus fucking christ that was lame as hell.

i am a flaming ball of hatred. but don't worry, i want you to reply and give me the most brutal assessment ever. pseudo-intellectual? pseudo-radical? hypocritical misanthrope? metal-head? let it all hang out. here's something to work with:

- I sometimes flame people who piss me off, not because of the reasons given for me flaming them, but because they piss me off.
- I attempt to maintain a veneer of superiority (hint: if you read my posts, you could piece together that i have no job, i don't go to school, i live with my parents...work with this!)
- I try to relate the most fucked up things that I've seen, encountered, or had happen to me with a detached cool....work with this, you can really come up with something great.
- I once had lyrics in my sig by someone who stabbed a man to death, burned down churches in the name of satan, and upon incarceration, decided that he wanted to become a neo-nazi. if people knew about this, it would look embarassing as fuck.

Ugh. I have so many problems with this, I don't even know where to start. I think there are a lot of smart people on this board, but I won't go into more detail because I don't necessarily think my impressions about that are accurate. I was posting here (though under different names) since long before I went to Princeton and I don't really think the fact that I did should be as big a deal as people like to make it out to be. The prestige of the ivy league is mostly an illusion and it really annoys me how people mock and pick at it.

Take my description as more of a caricature of you, like the artist who meets you on the street and paints an exagerated portrait of you in a matter of minutes. The details may not be perfect, but you get the idea.

I remember when Vampiro was here as only a member, would get into tons of arguements and then all of a sudden he was made a moderator. Lots of people got upset about it all. He stuck around for quite a while as a mod, did a pretty good job, then he abused his power or something and left.

I remember when the message boards went down for awhile and Elazul opened his message board as a place people could go to while ZMD was down. ZMD came back and then a whole bunch of tension surfaced and then a fence got put up dividing ZMD and EP.

I remember when SG opened his store, he had that store board, people would post messages regarding their orders and he would flame them. Golden :)

I remember when ZeldaDD was a moderator, he was like a superhero, he did an excellent job, was very fair. I think he probably gave up food and sleep for awhile just cause he was so overwhelmed with his responsibilities.

Alot of drama / love triangles has taken place with female members throughout my time here, I've tried to not pay any attention to most of it. (All the leaving, coming back, changing names...)

What was the nick of that person who would post stuff on the emu board about finding out secrets about FF games, his posts would always have about 100 smilies/emoticons. Always had links to cool info about FF games.

Oh yeah, I've always avoided the Diaries board like I avoid crack and heroin, I'm too scared that I may like it too much and I'll get addicted and never be able to get off the stuff :)

Lots of times the characters personalities on here overlap for me, with a cast this big it's hard to really keep proper track of them all, though it's fun trying.

oh jesus, i remember him. And so does anyone who's ever looked at the ZD news queue for translation/hacking information. Although i know he was only trying to help.. half the hacks he posted weren't near half-way to being a half=crappy hack <img src=smilies/banghead.gif>. Like the Metriod level hack that simply had an elevator go down, left one screen, then up one screen and end.
