View Full Version : Getting Taken to Court (The Inevitable Has Happened)

Background:
April: My good female friend calls me and tells me that an asshole guy that she goes (and I went) to school with took advantage of her while she was drunk. This guy's a real class act. I start thinking.
May: The idea hits me: Pie him in the face at his high school graduation.
June: I buy a pie pan and fill it with whipped cream. I decide on whipped cream as opposed to a real pie in order not to cause any permanent staining. After graduation when everyone's gathered outside for pictures, I make my move. I walk up, raise the pan, the whipped cream flies, and I high-tail it to the getaway car.
Today:
My mom gets an angry call from his mother, proclaiming that I will be taken to court, pay for "damages", and apologize. She claims that the whipped cream ruined the graduation gown and that emotional damages were inflicted. My mom says that I don't live with her, it's not her problem, and that his mom should take it up with me. Then comes the defining moment:
His Mom: I don't understand why your son would do this.
My Mom: Maybe you should ask your son about what he did to ***** (my female friend).
Yeah, this is getting ridiculous.
1. I went in prepared to pay any dry cleaning bill or anything that could reasonably be considered my responsibility. Instead, they feel that this was magical whipped cream; the kind that ruins fabric forever. Bullshit, whipped cream comes out of everything.
2. I am an adult, he's an adult. Why is his mom calling mine? What kind of pussy antic is that?
3. Why did they wait over a month to even bring it up? Were they just sitting around, thinking of ways to make money one day and came up with this gem?
Oh well, another story to tell the grandkids.

Dude, he's a pussy. He's hiding behind mommy and daddy. If I were you, I wouldn't be afraid or nervous about going to court over that act of "terrorism". He's obviously unstable if he: is drinking illegally, taking advantage of women while intoxicated and hiding behind mommy.
It's 4:06, I'm tired, so bare with me as I jump to a conclusion: somewhere in his life, at a young age, he was mistreated by a female in his life under the influence of alcohol and thus it was formed in his mind that this kind of behavior is acceptable and acts out such behavior on females involved in his life. Since he is cowering behind his mother, I'm guessing she's the cause of his mental mutations. Yet again, I jumped to a f'n conclusion and it's a weird one. Don't take it seriously, although I would use it and this whole situation as some material to make fun of him.
Regardless of what happens, that's awesome how you pied the son of a bitch!

The guy's and his mom are major pussies, "Mommy Mommy! This guy put a pie on me, waaaaaaaaaaaaaah Call his Mommy and complain for me.". I would of used a food that stains so his shit would get stained so he would remember NOT to "take advatage" of females. Either way, ,nice work.

Good for you. Fuck him. I wish it'd been a dye packet in the damned pie. Taking advantage of women? He's a fucking coward hiding behind a skirt. He needs to be "fixed" so he can't do things like that. Good job, dude.

I wish people would stop talking about this case without knowing the whole story. What actually happened was that that McDonald's restaurant had received repeated warnings from the state health inspectors that the temperature of the coffee machine was way above the limit. Yes, believe it or not, there's actually a legal limit to how hot coffee can be in a fast food join. The restaurant refused to heed the warnings, so they deserved whatever lawsuits that they got slapped on them.

this reminds me of a Bloom County strip when Steve Dallas took a picture of Sean Penn when he was drunk, and got the crap beaten out of him.
Steve didn't sue Penn or his wife, Madonna (this strip was written in the 80's); you don't sue celebrities, because they are admired by the public.
He decided to sue the multi-million dollar camera company for not putting a warning sign on the back of the camera that would read: "warning: taking pictures of celebrity hotheads may result in serious injury"
God Bless America, land of lawsuit! /wwwthreads/images/icons/tongue.gif

Oh, absolutely, I agree with you. It's just that a better example would be those idiot Columbine parents suing vidoegame companies. What ever happened to that lawsuit, anyway?

Thrown out of court, I think.

You're actually dead on. His mom is overbearing, uptight about social norms, and all she worries about is keeping up appearances. In short, she has his balls in her pocket.
