Oh yeah. I wish I could get my dad to stop using IE...last time the browser homepage got hijacked it was hell trying to fix it. I eventually was able to however.

I use MyIE2 and even if IE's homepage gets raped MyIE2's is just fine since it has a homepage lock which actually works and trust me it has been tested on 1000's of pron, rom, and warez sites.
Hehe, almost like crossposting with this reply.

Yes, and FireFox doesn't get hijacked because it's not IE. Oooh, slam!

edit: this post was useless without some text, but IE does suck... no amounts of plugins can fix that... now, once apple brings over safari, i'm sticking to mozilla.

I don't use IE, I use MyIE2. It uses the IE engine but that's it. It's 10x more stable than IE so don't compare the 2 because I think IE sucks also.

I'll make things simpler. IE's engine sucks. Everything with I and E in capital letters in a sequential order... sucks.

Was the story of my life when I lived with my family. Then it was the story of my life with my girlfriend's family. And it was always the story of my life when I worked for a software company and my illiterate co-workers couldn't do shit with their systems. stupid mba grads.

You mean like when I paid $40 for netscape navigator back in 95 and you had to download a plugin for every different thing and they wanted you to pay like $20 for the one that actually worked right.
Worse yet the browser would lock up every 1/2 hr and make me do a full reboot to make it work again, but IE on the other hand when first released would run for hrs without locking up or crashing and you could actually download a file the first time you tried. I think the only good thing netscape came up with was Composer.
So everyone says firebird uses web standards, well so did navigator and it sucked ass because you can follow all the standards in the world and still have a program that still doesn't work right because even though it is a standard browser most internet users by far *not just this site* use IE and so most website designers design for them since they are the majority of all users out there, sure they're newbees mostly but they are the majority.

BTW DD, very nice site you linked there.

Well...FireFox, and all it's extensions (which are most often user made) are free. Totally free. And they actually work well. But anyway, I don't feel like arguing. */me hands Shawn a beer"
