Playing Beat The Clock

Okay, I've Thursday and Friday off. Paid. Which means I need to get 5 days worth of production done in three. Monday, I worked ten hours and nailed 2 days worth. I hustled my ass off. Spent all the time in the pressroom, ran out nearly 60,000 impressions.
On the other hand, the clown we have running the big press (a 2 Color 20 X 25) managed to, in 7 hours, get off 1400 impressions. Hehe. I'm not done with him yet.
He plans on leaving early Wednesday. My associate (the mighty Office Queen-between the two of us we run the place) has assured me he'll have a helluva time getting out early. We just took in (Monday) about 94,000 impressions. She wants it done before the holiday. While I squealed with delight about it, she also informed me that one job (40,000 imp) that was slated for the small press got canceled.
