I am having a problem with firefox. I d/l and installed the newest build, and now Firefox won't run. It shows up in the procceses tab in task manager, but the firefox window never comes up. This happened when I updated to 0.9 a while back, but I figured "Hey, they just released 1.0, why not give it a shot". So can someone either help me figure out what the hell is the problem, or let me know where I can get the 0.8 version I was using before?

Yeap.
*edit* I just uninstalled both and re-installed the newer version. Still nothing.

Find your Mozilla application data folder (C:\Documents and Settings\(Your User Name)\Application Data\Mozilla\ or C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\). Kill the Firefox process, and delete the Firefox folder. Badabing, badaboom.

Could not find an Application Data folder in either of those locations.

Click Start, and click "Find". Or "Search".

And make sure you have that "view hidden folders" option checked in Explorer.

That's because you don't have viewing of hidden files enabled.

Tools > Folder Options > View

Click the box next to Show hidden files and folders.

Now go back and look. <img src=smilies/thumb.gif>
