Hi, I'm a bit new to this, having just started getting ROMs since I lost my actual GBA (a friend of mine plays ROMs but rarely hacks them), and I'm trying to solve a problem with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance that's been annoying me.

I'm looking for a way to hack it so that I can change the names of all the characters, or at least choose what they are from the in-game list. Does anyone know how to do this or can tell me the location in the hex of where the character names are kept?

Find a search relative program and table making program. Make a table, use a rom text editor to edit the names...and you're done. Hacking docs can be found here: http://www.romhacking.com/. Good luck.
