Wow...that was an amazingly well written, thought out op-ed. Dare I say, sums up wholly and completely my general sentiments about the situation in which we are facing as a nation. Excellent read.

*claps*

Well put, and I couldn't agree more with his conclusions. If only more people valued integrity and honesty, the world would be a better place.

In reply to:

Even after 9/11, were people really looking to be dragged into an optional war under false pretenses?

Exactly.

I'm going to be surprised if Bush is re-elected, I can't possibly conceive the majority of so many people voting for him...again.
What was it he said...fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me? I think it applies here. =)

He will. Then he'll rebuke the statements contained within, then other people will rebuke him, and there'll be an argument, then it'll end on some random note, then everyone will get back to their daily lives.

I dont know about that? That RedXII (or whatever) thread got pretty pornographic - throbbing penises and all. Maybe these arguments are evolving in to somthing else - a bad 70's porno!

Ron Reagan Jr. believes that George W Bush Jr. has no credibility. Bmecoli is a lazy f*ck. (Really, its there in the article) He was elected without a mandate since he lost the popular vote. His administration lies and deceives. Jar Jar Binks is god. Conservatives that supported his father are turning away from him. He panders to the religious right. Save me Jebus! He lied about Iraq. He should not be reelected. Ron Reagan Jr. is not jealous of Dubya. Are you the repair man? Reagan Jr does not covet the presidency as some conservatives would like to paint of him. Come to my room, bomp bomp bow woww

Elect anybody but bush the liar and divider.

you should thank your lucky stars you were born in the last 100 years. any time beore that and you'd probably be murdered by other cow-hands who don't appreciate your attitude toward things. or maybe you'd be the son of a glorious king, who upon taking the throne ignores all his duties and lives a life of indulgence and idiocy. your guards would eventually get sick of your bitching and beat you to death with hammers.

Thank you for that shining explanation for why you had to get a GED instead of graduating with the rest of your peers.

why? Just because I iddn't feel like reading and just wanted a short summary from someone that already has? that's a pretty pathetic reason to wish for someones' death

want an better explination hmm? I left high school becuase of the torment my peers gave me. I'm glad I left, fuck high school.. I took the GED without studying at all and passed with high scores. After getting my GED I went to FCCJ and persued a degree in computer metworking. Unfourtunatly, I got burned out and had to drop out, which I regret every moment of my life. Now, are you saying that I didn't want to read that because I'm stupid? I could easily read all of that. It's just that I really didn't feel like it at the time (mostly due to laziness, restlessness, and the fact that I don't care to read long, political, documents) Now if it was maybe an interesting article on math or science, then I might read or at the very least skip through it, but it wasn't. It was something that I wanted to get the jist of, without reading the whole damn thing, is that so fucking wrong?

Yeah, I don't think he realizes that being able to hook your computer up to the cable modem without getting the cable inadvertantly lodged in your rectum does not constitute "persuing a degree in computer networking".
