Fresh start

I'm gonna start my own Final Fantasy 3(SNES) hack. I'll be adding a few events hopefully and messing around with the game play a little. All I need to know is what programs would be good for such a task. I can teach myself how to use them(though you may need to explain the relavence of the programs suggested).

Translhextion - Hex/text editor
YY-CHR - Graphics editor
FF3usME - Edits pretty much everything
FF3Ed - I use it for the font and dialogue editors, FF3usME is better in every other aspect.

There's also a bunch of FF3 US documents around, I believe all the tools and a few documents are on the site.

I have all that, but I need a program that can edit events, or edit them. FF3usME doesn't, but I know there IS a way since there are so many patches on the site with new events.

Edit them from scratch. The FF3Info.txt included with FF3ed has the event code listed.
