I recently switched to SNES9x as my SNES emulator of choice, but I'm having one problem Any time I try to load a new ROM (either by selecting Load Game from the File menu or by hitting Ctrl-O) the program locks up and it takes over a minute before the Load Game dialogue appears. I can load ROMs that I've already played instantly in the Recent Games menu.
Everything else seems to work fine and the emulator runs full speed after a game is loaded. Any ideas what could be causing this or how to fix it?
